All I ever wanted to be was a "Mum."  Becoming a mum has just been the most wonderful gift and experience. There is nothing more precious than new life.

When my babies were born, I loved to receive a hand knitted outfit or a gift with their name on. I found gifts like this so special and I knew I would treasure them forever, so I started making them for friends and family and soon people were asking to buy them from me.

For as long as I can remember, I have enjoyed crafting. I started making personalised, hand painted wooden keepsakes when my first two children, (Ruby & Billy) were little and I learnt to knit when I was eight, with the help and guidance of my beloved Granny. I loved to knit simple squares and scarves with her, but it was when my third child, Joey was born, that I really learnt to knit and which brought about the creation of 'little mole.'

Our surname is 'Mole' so the name 'little mole' just seemed so perfect!

Little Mole is forever evolving, especially as my babies are starting to spread their own wings. I also create a gorgeous selection of super chunky knits for Mamas. These are either made to order or one off pieces for you to choose from, There is a beautiful choice of colours available to suit your own unique style.

I use a blend of merino, cashmere & silk wool for my baby knitwear and 100% pure merino wool for my baby blankets & Mama Mole designs. They’re so kind and soft to babies’ delicate skin and they’re both breathable and sustainable.
